A red-breasted robin alone on a maple tree,
proudly presenting herself for you to see,
how she displays herself arrogantly,
as she glimpses around surveying her company.

Robins are harbinger of spring;
they burst songs as it is coming;
they feed themselves berries on winter
earthworm and insects in spring as their feeders.
