handled carefully on top of your palm.
From home we go to the shoreline
walking hand in hand
find a comfortable site and
sit down on the sand.
You find a soft tiny piece of strap
from a bark nearby where we are
and you wrap it around to both of our hands
as sign of our endless and enduring love.
